At the time of joining Arna Steve's brother Martin (ATN 356 ) was at Stoke City.Unable to command regular first team football at GR Steve moved on and began 95/96 at Oakham United.

The late Pete "Cat" Catling sadly passed away following a sudden illness in 2006. A proud member of the Eagles "200 Club" the Sheffield born defender made Arnold history towards the end of the 95/96 season when he became the first Arnold player ever to be featured on the front cover of a national football magazine (TeamTalk)Signed (very much as a pair along with Lee Walshaw) from Alfreton early in the 92/93 season. Other former clubs include Sheffield FC, Sheffield Aurora and Denaby United Pete was very much the Eagles' "Des Walker" as the Arna faithful waited for his first and only goal for the club.
"Cat's" final game for the Eagles was on 26th August 1998, a 2-2 draw at his home town of Sheffield.

Has the distinction of being awarded the inaugural ATFCSC Player of the Season title for 1990/91. Left Arnold for Gedling Town at the beginning of 91/92.

Dave Jnr's one goal for the Eagles came at a fog bound GR on 14th Dec. 1991 in a 4-0 win over Glapwell. Moved on to Gedling Town for 93/94.

Previous clubs also included Alfreton Town and Grimsby Town at Reserve team level.At the beginning of 95/96 Clarkie was back at Coronation Park for his third spell with the Badgers.....reportedly as a striker once again!

Finding limited first team opportunities at the beginning of 93/94 Mark left the club to join Kimberley Town for a brief period at the end of Oct. 93 before moving on to Hucknall Town in Jan. 94. Mark's last appearance for the Eagles was on 19th Oct. 93 at GR against RES Parkgate. He came on as a sub for Mark Goodwin and managed to get on the scoresheet in a 5-1 victory. When he left a week or so later he was, at that point, the leading appearance maker for Arnold Town.

To complete the story his 5th goal came in the FA Cup replay against the Nailers which saw Arna win 3-1 at GR.

Basically Andy had to try his luck elsewhere as he had very limited opportunities at first team level during his first few years at the club.
